Schindler's List

 Oskar Schindler was a hero. This movie was based on a German/Nazi businessman names Oskar Schindler, he was a factory owner during the Nazi invasion in Europe. Although being a Nazi, he saved the lives of over a thousand Polish-Jews. After realizing that many Jews were being sent on trains to what was called the Holocaust he wanted to protest. But then someone told him that they were being exterminated, with fire and gaz. After this he bribed many Nazi Camp Commanders to send as many people to his factory as possible. For several years he did not produce anything and was losing a lot of money, luckily for the Jews and himself he ran out of money just as the German Armed Forces (Nazis) surrendered.

              

Surprisingly the movie was based on a book by an Australian writer called “Schindler’s Ark”. This amazing story was actually true.

               For many people this matter is hard to talk about, I recently took interest of Hitler’s racist rage. This movie might be hard to watch. It was recently made and there was no actual footage of the horrible murders. I think it would be suitable for older ages. I recommend this movie 100%.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone

               If you didn’t already know, this was the first Harry Potter Book/Movie. In the book by J.K Rolling Harry’s parents were killed by a vicious sorcerer named Valdimor. Later he was adopted by his aunt and uncle who let their son tease and beat harry and who neglected him and mad is sleep under the stairs. He was then found by a teacher from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry who later saved him from the awful couple. He was then shipped off to the mystical school.

               The movie was almost as good as the book, it was interesting to see how all they young characters changed to be men and women. Especially Emma Watson from the first Harry Potter Till the last her appearance has changed to be from a little kid to stunning women. The interesting thing about a movie based on a book is to see how the author imagined the set and characters would look like.

                I would recommend getting up and reading this book, J.K Rolling is an amazing author and the story is just overwhelming. You just can’t stop turning the pages! As for the movie Chris Columbus (director) is a genius who made this series famous.
